In the past, I used advertising on SailingUni to help defray the cost of running the Sailing University.
When advertisers started running toilet paper and bidet ads on the website, that was the last straw.
I purged the website of all ads. Getting rid of the toilet paper was a big relief.
I like the Sailing University much better without ads.
I do all the writing and web design myself, and I pay myself a salary of zero dollars a year. But that is getting ready to change.
